No Nokia has not included Pakistan in the list of countries where OVI STORE is accessible and with Nokia N97 official launch this month they could be in hot water as OVI Store is an essential part of the phone and without it , the phone’s functionality could not be easily increased .
As Nokia has given me the N-97 to play with , accessing OVI store was crucial for me to make the most of it . ‘
So for countries like Pakistan where OVI Store and other OVI services like OVI Share are not avaiable and giving “ Permission Denied” Your Region is not authorized , the easiest way is through TOR , the anonymizer which I used to use during the blogspot ban days in Pakistan . I’m using Opera Tor flavor of TOR for ease of use
Don’t expect access to be fast , it’s slow to access the store but still it works , do not send the download url to your phone , it still will not be able to access it , the best way is to download on your PC and install on the phone from there .
Just applying a little sense to solve my problems
