According to WSJ , FB and Nokia are discussing alliance that will incorporate parts of FB into some Nokia Phones . The latest example is Nokia 5630 Xpress Music featuring Media sharing with Flickr and Facebook .
What I want from this alliance
- I want to know if my contact is online on FB ( Like MSN used to have on Outlook Express ) if I look into my Phone Contact list
- I want instant change in data whenever my FB contact changes their information
- I want IM support / Status update / comment support all through contacts
That’s it for now will want more but that’s on Nokia and FB to figure out .
How this alliance will help Nokia and FB financially , ADS , FB has a sleek AD system use it Nokia , show us some ads when I click on status update , comment or whatever , you know my exact location through Cell Tower Location even if my GPS is not on , in FB I can live in Karachi and have my profile show Kalamazoo and see MI based Ads not with Nokia you’ll know if I’m in Multan or Motown and can show ads according to my location , hey if Macy’s having a big sale while I’m in NY I don’t want to see an Ad for D-Mart- Karachi having special on Sugar
