How to Use NSS

NSS is a revolutionary software by B-Phreaks UK which helps Nokia DIY like me to change the product code of the phone to meet their requirements .

in my case the rquirements for E71 are I changed the product code to get the correct Kay mapping not press ‘.’  produces ‘?”

For those who don’t know how to use NSS I’ve made a small pictorial guide to assist you but still I resume no warranties , do it at your own risk and it will void the warranty of your phone .  On the other hand I’ve done it plenty of times without bricking my phone.

The pictorial Guide is as follows

1)  Start NSS and click on the Magnifying Glass icon for Scanning of Phone

Now you will see a bunch of data , ignore it and press Phone Info with a Nokia 6600 icon

 

3)  Now the phone information is displayed and on the right side click on all the Radio Buttons and press Read

 

 

4)  It will show the phone product code on the right , change it to your desired code and press write 

In a moment the information will be written press read again to check the information and you are all done . The whole procedure took me only 2 min
