Nokia E72 – Keyboard Shortcuts

Just a quick overview of Keyboard shortcuts on Nokia E72

Torch -  Keep the Spacebar pressed to activate /  deactivate  the torch

Bluetooth -  Keep the Sym key pressed to turn on / off Bluetooth

Silent -  Keep the CTRL Key pressed to toggle between  Silent and General Profiles

Device Manager -  *#0000# will take you here to check for updated Firmware and other device information

IMEI -  *#06# will show the IMEI

Hard Reset -  *#7370# will erase all the information on the phone ( not memory card ) and bring it to factory settings ,  passcode is 12345

Address book access :  Just type out name of the Contact on the main screen for contact list

 Web Browser -  Keep the ‘0’/ M Key pressed to launch web browser

Keyboard Lock  -  Press Left Soft Key and than Right Softkey in quick succession

Close Data Connection  -  Press and Hold the Call End Key on main standby screen

Home Key -  Single Press starts the Menu -  Press and Hold shows the list of programs running in background

Calendar Key –  Single Press starts Calendar – Press and Hold starts the new Calendar Entry

Contact Key –  Single Press starts Contacts – Press and Hold starts the new Contact Entry

Messaging Key –  Single Press starts Email   – Press and Hold starts the new Email Message

Voice Command -  Button in between Volume buttons on Right side wall

Soft Keys -  Softkeys can be customized to launch any program or Web Book mark to customize it go to Ctrl Panel -  Settings -  General -  Personalization – Standby Mode -  Key Shortcuts and make changes over here
