Nokia + Fring + WiFi / 3G = Int’l Video call

Fring , the revolutionary communication program available for FREE for Nokia and other platforms , has brought a revolution in keeping in touch with your loved ones .

Sure with Fring you can use MSN, Yahoo ., GMAIL , ICQ , Twitter , FB and SKYPE  but now Fring also supports SKYPE with VIDEO Call , the catch you need to be on 3G or WiFi .

The setup is very easy , install Fring on your Nokia , setup all the accounts , run SKYPE , choose your contact , go to options and choose Video Call and have a full video conversation with your contact .

The software uses the front Cam of the Nokia so the quality is not that good but still it’s handy for Video Call on the go .

SKYPE was already in use in my family to make long distance calls , on computer to computer Video Chat or phone to phone voice chat.  Now with the support for Video Call , it adds true  mobile usability .

Next week I’ll be out of country for a week and has already setup the Fring /  Skype Video calls on my parents and wife’s computer , let’s see how it works .
