Although our Nokia N9 came with 16GB of space , Nokia has divided how this memory is used .
Total Space : 15.79 GB
Installed Apps Allocated Space : 4.2 GB
App Data Allocated Space : 2.1 GB
User Data Allocated Space : 9.5 GB.
During our less than a week of usage, we have already used 1.7GB of Installed Apps ( mostly due to preinstalled Apps ) and 1.8GB of User Data.
Now App junkies like me will be a bit saddened to see limited space for installed Apps as we had the same problem with N900 with it’s approx 2GB of storage space of which we ran out immediately.
N9 is a newly launched device so a MeeGo repository is yet not available, however there are some in works and we dread the day when they are launched and we run out of space on our devices. Hope Nokia fixes it soon and make the whole 15.79 GB available to be used any way we like.
