Ovi Weekly News by Nokia

Nokia is working hard to promote their OVI Store , first it allowed re-download of already downloaded / purchased  applications , then last week came the rumor that OVI Store will be a cross platform /  cross brand store i.e. not only Nokia but Samsung etc may be able to use it and today in my Inbox I got OVI Store  Weekly updates highlighting the best and the latest OVI has to offer  .

Two suggestions for Nokia ,

1) If you want to send a weekly newsletter , the best time of the week is the close , send it on Friday as we are all going for a weekend and can try out the apps at leisure ,  on a Wednesday it’s a nono

 

2)  Still the applications are limited by the  devices not OS platforms , the Rihanna app is workable on N97 not on 5800 , both running S60v5 ,  my advice think about it , don’t limit the users , give us freedom on our devices
