On 12th February , Nokia Pakistan officially launched Lumia 920 , 820 and 620 in Pakistan , beside Nokia Pakistan’s team also present were representative from Mobilink, Pakistan’s largest cellular phone company and partner for Nokia in Lumia 920 , 820 and 620 launch , also present were representatives from Microsoft and saving the best for last , Mr Alessandro Lamanna – Vice President Marketing – IMEA (India, Middle East, Africa) at Nokia and Ms Dunia Othman - Technology Marketing Manager at Nokia , both came to Pakistan for the first time and loved their time here. We have taken quiet a lot pictures of the event and here are the few selected ones to show how great the event it was.
Nokia was there to show their greatest offerings to the media and partners and set up a huge Experience lounge with Lumia phones , Live Twitter feeds about #SwitchtoLumia Event , Accessories for Lumia ( missing was the Nokia Monster Wireless Headset which will be launched soon ) . What we liked about the lounge was that the brand promoters were knowledgeable and passionate about Nokia. At the event I was carrying my Samsung Galaxy Note II device and the brand ambassadors spoke their best to convince me to #Switchtolumia. If I were not the Nokia fan myself , I would have switched ( I was carrying a Lumia 800 in my bag)

Mr Alessandro Lamanna presenting the Lumia , he looks intimidating but is down to earth and hey he remembered me from the time I took his interview in Dubai for Nokia N9 . The best thing about him he likes to know people and their views about Nokia , in Dubai and even in Karachi , he was sitting with bloggers enjoying a light chat and sharing his honest views.
Ms Dunia Othman , Nokia’s Technology Marketing Manager , I call her the Lumia Gal ,as she talked about how ‘us girls’ like to use Lumia. I had a chance to interview her for 10 minutes about Lumia and Apps for Pakistan which I will share later . For now she is holding Lumia 920 , 820 and 620 , I so envy her.
